Read this out loud: I am wee Todd did.

PSA from the crusty black heart of Gleemonex Industries:

  • A regimen is a systematic plan (as of diet, therapy, or medication) or a regular course of action.
  • A regime is a mode of rule or management, a form of government (e.g. a socialist regime), a government in power, or a period of rule.

They look a lot alike, but they are not, in fact, interchangeable. And the next time SHAPE magazine uses them as such, I will go to there and burn them down.

Fuck Shape Magazine -- God, how I hate them! With their stupid suggestions on making me more fit and health conscious... Mind your own business!

Tardy I may be, but I just have to say that your time in Texas ("We roasted our own spices to make garam masala, we drank a lot of Lone Star out by the pool, we watched Dazed and Confused sixteen hundred more times, we drove to Dallas to see Empire Strikes Back") sounds phucking phenomenal.

I'm with Spanish Johnny. I'd take your time in Texas over pretty much any of my days from the last 2 months...3 months even.

On an unrelated note, my captcha was "buffi"...weird.

Seriously? This trumps all of the idiot signs ("Your almost too the exit for are BBQ resterant"), because at least those people have job descriptions that read: "makin' bbq," not: "knowing how to string two words together," which I'm pretty sure is required of at least one of Shape magazine's editors.

Hey, why does the Gleemonex household GET Shape magazine, anyway?

My thoughts exactly, bgirl. Gah.

We are subscribers because some damn kid came to our door and sold us it; we already get the New Yorker, Harper's, Rolling Stone, and BUST, so ... how about something to read while I'm on the elliptical machine at the gym? Veggies and yoga, let me tell you them.
